WHAT TO PRAY FOR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES

Pray That Elected Leaders Will:

•    .  Be individuals of integrity, grace, and conviction
•    .  Be willing servants
•    .  Be individuals of vision, perseverance & character
•    .  Be filled with wisdom and discernment
•    .  Have endurance, health and protection
•    .  Have strong, healthy family life
•    .  Experience physical, emotional and spiritual well being
•    .  That the Holy Spirit will guide and guard their thoughts and speech
•    .  Have courage to do what is right and grace in doing it

WHAT TO PRAY FOR THE NATION

•    .  That Canada will be a country that honours and serves God
•    .  That Canada will be a nation which demonstrates righteousness, justice,     
•       compassion and generosity
•    .  That the Holy Spirit will bring renewal across our land
•    .  That Canada will be a nation which fosters acceptance, forgiveness,
•       sharing and working together for a better Canada
•    .  Pray for Canada's leadership in international relations and policy
•    .  Pray for the spiritual strength of the nation

WHO TO PRAY FOR IN THE NATION

•    .  The Governor General, Prime Minister, Cabinet, Senate, Party Leaders,
•       and Caucus of each party
•    .  Premiers, Mayors, and Provincial/ Municipal Governments
•    .  First Nations and Aboriginal Leaders
•    .  The Supreme Court, Judges and the Judicial system
•    .  The Military, Police, Fire and Emergency Services
•    .  The Healthcare System and Healthcare Workers
•    .  Educators, Teachers, Students
